Today is World Emoji Day, and in honor of the occasion, Apple has just revealed a slew of new emoji they will be adding to iOS, macOS and watchOS later this year! Among the new designs are lots of new people (bearded man, woman with head scarf, breastfeeding woman), animals (zebra, T-Rex), supernatural beings (elf, zombie), food (sandwich, coconut), and variations of the yellow smiley face (exploding head, vomit face, starstruck).
With thousands of emoji available on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, there are many ways to add personality to every message. New emoji include Woman with Headscarf, Bearded Person and Breastfeeding, and food items such as Sandwich and Coconut. More animals and mythical creatures like T-Rex, Zebra, Zombie and Elf are a fun way to describe situations and new Star-Struck and Exploding Head smiley faces make any message more fun.
We’ve compiled all of the new emoji images released by Apple, which include some (but clearly not all) skin tone and gender variations. Here they are in a single image:

What’s your favorite new emoji, and which one do you see yourself using the most in the years to come?
Actually, I’m guessing this zombie coffee emoji combo (and its male variant) will quickly become one of the most used emoji combos of all time:
