So THAT happened during last week’s Nebraska state speech championships!
Gregory Blobaum is the photographer who captured this upheaval and he shared it via Facebook yesterday.
He wrote:
I had held off on posting this until I had talked to the kid in the photo. He’s a great kid, and i’m glad that he can find the humor in what happened.
The image has been making the web rounds and the young man who placed 5th certainly didn’t seem to concur with Blobaum’s assertion.
Brian Rosenthal shared the photograph via Twitter and after someone replied “Poor kid, now he has his photo all over Twitter,” Rosenthal responded with, “He consented.”
The guy who finished 5th replied, “I most certainly did not consent.”
