Last month The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Vicki Gunvalson revealed that she and controversial beau Brooks Ayers were dating again, despite the continued disapproval of her daughter Briana Culberson, Briana’s husband Ryan Culberson, Tamra Barney, and pretty much the entire internet. This weekend Vicki was in Cabo San Lucas on a business trip and she brought her man along with her! She shared the photo above on Facebook along with the caption, “Last night in Cabo. Great insurance incentive trip. Thanks to all the new friends I’ve made.”
As viewers of The Real Housewives of Orange County are well aware, the family tension surrounding Vicki and her relationship with Brooks has been heightened by the fact that Briana and her son Troy are living with Vicki and Briana has threatened to leave if Brooks moves in. But Vicki isn’t letting that threat stand in her way of having her cake and eating it too!
“My 26-year-old isn’t going to determine who I date,” Vicki reveals to Life & Style in the current issue. “I understand [Briana and Ryan’s] opinion…but that doesn’t mean I’m going to follow it,” she adds.
That being said, Vicki is taking Briana’s threats to leave seriously and keeping Brooks at a distance. “He’s got his own place,” Vicki says. “So I go to his house, and we’ll watch a movie, or we go out. I’m not forcing Briana to spend time with him.”
So what about all of the criticisms of Brooks from Briana and Vicki’s friends? “I told Brooks, ‘You ever lie to me, you’re done. You cheat on me, you’re done.’ I’m not an idiot, and I’ve got my feelers out,” Vicki says.
