Parody Song: Tornado Hamburger Blues

Man who had his hamburger stolen Eric Hubbard by a tornado with reporter Meg Pace

Well you knew it was only a matter of time before there was a parody song for Eric Hubbard, the man who had his hamburger stolen by a tornado in Mississippi.

This one was sent to us by what is becoming sort of our resident “parody song fan guy” who first graced us with his ode to Teen Mom star Corey Simms and his worn out hat. Without further ado here is “Tornado Burglar Blues” as a shout out to Mr. Hubbard and the delta state that is the home of blues music:

And here are the lyrics for “Tornado Hamburger Blues.”

There was a bad storm blowing in from the west
Fixin’ to eat my hamburger like all the rest
Thought I was gonna die you can believe that
Now my hamburger, fries and drink
I don’t know where they’re at

Meg Pace came around asking me what went down
When the storm of ’11 blew through my hometown
I told her what I saw with my own two eyes
That old tornado stole my hamburger, drink and fries

Hamburger, drink and fries
Hamburger, drink and fries
That old tornado stole my hamburger, drink and fries child

There was a bad storm blowing in from the west
I was fixin’ to eat my hamburger just like all the rest
I thought I was gonna die and you can believe that
Now my hamburger, fries and drink
I don’t know where they’re at

No my hamburger, fries and drink
I don’t know where they’re at child

As we previously reported in our original post of the now viral video reporter Meg Pace let us know that, “Amazingly everyone was ok in our area of Mississippi.  Just structural (and burger) losses.”  She recently tweeted the great above photo of herself and Mr. Hubbard.
