Paris Hilton says more to life than material possessions while showing off material possessions

Socialite Paris Hilton was the victim of a series of robberies at the hands of the notorious and much-publicized Bling Ring. Her Beverly Hills home makes a cameo in the upcoming film about the robbers called The Bling Ring featuring Emma Watson, who portrays Alexis Neiers – a troubled teen involved in the crimes who also made a brief run as a reality star on E!’s Pretty Wild.

Hilton let director Sofia Coppola in to her home to take photos of what it’s like in the world of Paris. In the feature to appear in Elle, Paris stated what she hopes viewers learn from watching the upcoming film:

“There’s much more to life than all of these possessions and everything. And if you want those things, you’re going to have to work yourself, just like I did.”

Yes. While taking photos among much of her expensive stuff, Paris imparted wisdom about how the want for these things can be a negative and that it’s hard work that makes a mansion. Good ol’ Paris Hilton y’all!

To make her statements even a little more absurd, her comments run alongside images of Paris that include price tags of what she’s wearing etc… Heck, there’s even a photo of her 6-foot, 2-story doghouse that has been reported to have cost $350,000 to build.

When asked how she might react if she were to come across one of the thieves who broke into her home face-to-face she said:

“I don’t know what I’d do if I saw them. I’m not a confrontational person. But I would literally be like, ‘You guys need serious help. And I want my stuff back.'”
