Fox just released the official cast portraits for the third season of Glee in which they had a little fun by going with a high school yearbook theme! The hilarious shots feature the students and faculty (and even Kurt’s dad Burt) posing in front of either a velvet red curtain or splotchy blue and black backdrop striking awkward poses with various accessories.
My favorite pictures of the bunch include the Most Awkward Award winning Mercedes Jones (at the top there – played by Amber Riley) and the always-mesmerizing Brittany S. Pierce (played by Heather Morris) who posed in her cheerleading uniform while listening to sweet nothings from a small stuffed rainbow-maned pony:
I also liked Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) in her famous jogging suit and Coach Biest (Dot-Marie Jones) crushing a football. One I didn’t like so much? Noah “Puck” Puckerman (Mark Salling) – not because his photo was bad per se, but because he looks like he’s about to turn 30!
