This video is just crazy! Melissa Catherine Smith-Means, 37 from Gaylesville, Alabama, was visiting a Verizon store in Rome, Georgia, home of Whitney, Weston, Chumpy, Errie, and Memaw, yesterday and dragged her kid through the store like he was a cat on a leash! The child had marks on his neck from the incident.
She was promptly arrested and charged with first-degree cruelty to a child, a felony. She’s currently being held without bail.
I hope someone responsible is looking after the kid right now. What a terrible experience for a child to go through.
