Miley Cyrus’ 18-year-old brother Braison almost died four months from an complication from tonsil surgery, and now he’s making his debut as a model. This boy’s had a dramatic year!
His mom Trish told E! News about the scary time when he started bleeding nine days after his surgery:
“There is no way he could have kept losing that amount of blood and survived. We are lucky we were a few miles from the hospital and I could get him there. If we were in Nashville it would have taken us 25 minutes to get there and it could have been the difference between life and death.”
At the time, dad Billy Ray even tweeted a photo of Braison in the hospital holding a bucket of his own blood.
Thankfully, he recovered after that scary time, and is now signed to the Wilhelmina modeling agency, and makes his debut in Troix magazine this January.

Miley’s also got another sibling with her parents Billy Ray and Tish, 12-year-old Noah Cyrus who’s been itching to get into showbiz for a while.
