37-year-old Maya Rudolf (SNL, Away We Go) gave birth to her second daughter, Lucille November 6, 2009 in L.A. Geez, Maya, thanks for letting everyone know right away.
Lucille, who is now about a month old, is Rudolf’s second child with husband, director Paul Thomas Anderson (There Will be Blood). Their older daughter, Pearl, is 4-years old. Rudolf revealed that she was going to have a second baby in May, right before the premiere of Away We Go, where she plays an expectant mom opposite John Krasinski.
Just like their first pregnancy, Maya and Paul didn’t find out the sex of the baby until birth. Maya told David Letterman why she choses to stay in the dark:
“Because when you’re ready to throw in the towel and you’ve got nothing positive to think about or feel, because you’re so heavy and you want to float in a pool of salt water to be buoyant, it was nice to have something to look forward to.”
