Taylor Swift got a scare during a recent concert in Pittsburgh when a man who previously threatened her online showed up with a sign that read, “Taylor Swift Is With Satan.”

Luckily, event security officials swooped in an arrested the man. He was later identified as 28-year-old Joseph Jackson. Along with the “Satan” sign, Jackson was toting a second sign which read “I Luv You.”

Once he was taken into custody, Jackson was ordered to undergo a mental evaluation. During questioning regarding his Facebook threats (which haven’t been made public) against Taylor, Joseph reportedly became extremely agitated.

According to CBS Pittsburgh, Jackson said, “Taylor Swift is Satan and that 6,000 years is six days and death comes on the sixth day, so Taylor Swift is in danger.”

“Certain actions you take on the internet are illegal by definition,” said attorney David Shrager. “Certain statements can be used against you in a courtroom.”

While Shrager isn’t representing Jackson, he says that he has dealt with issues like this before.

“I have cases, I go into court, the prosecution has evidence of my client making statements on the internet or taking pictures of himself with firearms and putting them on Facebook pages or their Twitter accounts and that makes it very difficult for me.”

As far as we know, Jackson’s never threatened Taylor with actual weapons. Still, Schrager believes Jackson’s documented online threats may be enough to land him behind bars.
