Will Ferrell and Chad Smith, the drummer from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, freaking look a lot alike. Chad’s a pretty funny guy and Will’s a pretty decent drummer. Something had to give!
During an AMA with Reddit, Smith challenged Ferrell to a drum-off that had one pretty righteous condition when the latter accepted. This doppelgänger rhythm rumble had to raise a combined $300,000 for Cancer for College.
With bank in hand for the charity, Jimmy Fallon hosted the throw down – along with some cowbell (YES!) and a special guest appearance:
