Don’t you love it when old co-stars stay in touch? Especially when those continued friendships create opportunities for awesome reunion pictures? That’s how I feel after seeing this snapshot from former Lizzie McGuire star Jake Thomas’ 25th (?!) birthday bash.
Jake, who played Lizzie’s younger brother, Matt McGuire, posted the picture of him with Lalaine (Miranda Sanchez) and Clayton Snyder (Ethan Craft) to Instagram this weekend. Lalaine and Ethan then upped the ante by pairing the new shot with one of them during their Disney days.
Since Lizzie McGuire ended more than 10 years ago, Lalaine has focused more on her music career, Clayton played water polo in college and Jake continued to act. (Find out what some of the other Lizzie McGuire stars are up to now in this post!)
The dream of having a full-cast reunion is still alive and well… Last September, Hilary Duff said she would be “totally open” to revisiting her character: “I mean, so many people loved her. I loved her… Maybe a Lizzie: Where Are You Now? like 10 years later.”
Oh, and the Lizzie McGuire cast wasn’t the only one that reunited at Jake’s birthday… His Cory in the House friends Jason Dolley and Maiara Walsh also joined in the festivities.
