Kevin Bacon Statue made entirely of bacon

Forget six degrees of Kevin Bacon.  Now you can be separated by just one degree from the prolific actor by purchasing a commissioned bust statue of Bacon made entirely of bacon!

Seattle based company J&D Foods specializes in all things bacon including their very own bacon flavored salt, mayonnaise – called Baconnaise – to envelopes that taste like bacon when they’re licked.  The company believes “everything is better with bacon” and put their money where their motto is by commissioning an artist to render a statue of Kevin Bacon made of bacon.

Owners of J&D, Justin Esch and Dave Lefkow, are auctioning off the masterwork with all proceeds to go to Ashley’s Team, a nonprofit organization that has one simple goal; to bring joy and happiness to children with cancer and their families.  Ashley’s Team’s namesake is Lefkow’s 4-year-old daughter who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia last year.
