Gavin Rossdale came under fire this week after photographs surfaced in which he appeared to be touching his nanny in an inappropriate manner during a hiking trip with his two children. The photo above is from 2010 – featuring Gavin, the alleged nanny-mistress and the kids.
While Gavin and wife Gwen Stefani’s marriage hadn’t seemed to be in trouble before, rumors were fueled by her recent admittance that she had been having trouble balancing her home life with her career. However, all of the rumors can now be put to rest because the hot nanny is actually Gavin’s sister, Soraya!
On Sunday afternoon, Gavin and Soraya had gone on a hike in West Hollywood with Gavin’s two children. As always, paparazzi followed, and when Gavin was photographed guiding Soraya up the mountain by the small of her back, it unfortunately ended up looking as if he was touching her butt.
“All the speculation is hilarious,” a source close to Gavin tells Radar Online. “And couldn’t be further from the truth. Gavin and Gwen are happier and more in love than ever and their marriage is absolutely rock solid. They truly have one of the happiest marriages in showbiz, or outside of showbiz for that matter!”
“It really comes to something when a guy can’t go for a hike with his little sister without being accused of cheating on his wife!”
Gavin and Gwen just celebrated their ten-year wedding anniversary in September and have two children, Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, 6, and Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, 4.
