Nickelodeon star Jennette McCurdy and Detroit Pistons’ power forward Andre Drummond are dating after he reached out to her on Twitter with #WCW hashtags. Although we can’t say for sure, this may be the first time a “woman crush Wednesday” as resulted in a real relationship!
According to TMZ, 21-year-old Jennette learned that 20-year-old Dre had a bit of a crush through his social media activity… The feelings were mutual, so she reached out to the NBA star. Thanks to Dre’s relaxed summer schedule, he was able to fly out to California to spend a few days with Jennette. (Meanwhile, the matchmakers behind the Twitter hashtag #GetJennetteMcCurdytoDateAndreDrummond all gave themselves a pat on the back!)
During his time in California, Dre and Jennette kept busy by visiting Disneyland, going bowling and goofing around on social media.
The relationship is still in its early stages, but seems to be going well so far! Both the lovebirds have shared pictures and messages on Twitter… Considering the roots of their courtship, that’s a big deal!
And, speaking of big deals, Jennette and Andre have quite a height difference: He’s 7′ while she’s just 5’3″.
