Heidi Klum joins America’s Got Talent as fourth judge

Heidi Klum attends the 21st Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscar Viewing Party in Los Angeles, California, United States.

Project Runway‘s Heidi Klum is all too familiar with participating in a judging foursome, so she seems a natural fit to fill the last seat on America’s Got Talent where she will be joining fellow judges Melanie Brown, Howard Stern, and Howie Mandel for Season 8!

According to TMZ, producers scored Heidi in a last minute deal, and today she boarded a plane and headed to New Orleans where the first round auditions will be held. The site shared a photo of the set in which you can see Heidi already has her very own personalized Judge’s “X,” which she’ll surely be lighting up before telling contestants, “In fashion talent, one day you’re in, and the next day you’re out.”

So far there has been nothing official from the network or its stars online, other than Howie Mandel’s retweet of the headline along with the addition, “Starting tomorrow.”

Also new this season on America’s Got Talent is Spice Girl Mel B who was just added to the cast last month.

Filming on America’s Got Talent season 8 is set to begin tomorrow and the series will begin airing on NBC sometime in May. Fingers crossed for a Halloween-themed episode!
