FULL POLICE REPORT George Zimmerman charged with stalking documentary PI Dennis Warren

George Zimmerman arrest for stalking full police report

Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman is in trouble with the law yet again after allegedly stalking and threatening an investigator hired by a documentary production company late last year.

In the official police report, included in its entirety below, a man named Dennis Warren reveals that he works as a private investigator and was hired by Cinemart Productions to “assist in locating individuals who may have interest in participating in a documentary centered around the life of Treyvon Martin and the incidents leading to his death by George Zimmerman in February of 2012.”

Warren reached out to George Zimmerman via voicemail and text message on September 21, 2017 to gauge his interest in contributing to the documentary. Warren says that Zimmerman called him to ask some questions about the production, and Zimmerman later spoke numerous times with film producer Mike Gasparro over the course of the next several months.

Gasparro later reached out to Warren to warn him that Zimmerman “was extremely agitated and sending him what he perceived to be physical threats against himself and Warren.” Zimmerman would later contact Warren directly with a series of threatening voice mails and text messages.

Warren contacted police, and the ensuing investigation concluded that Zimmerman “had in fact used electronic communication to send threatening and harassing communication to Warren.” Authorities believed that the threats, combined with Zimmerman’s knowledge of personal information in regards to Warren and his family, merited the charge of Aggravated Stalking.

The charges were filed on March 26, and Zimmerman’s arraignment was scheduled for April 25. Zimmerman was not served prior to April 25, however, and as such was a no show at the hearing. Zimmerman was served on May 3, and his arraignment has been rescheduled for May 30.

The stalking charge is a misdemeanor.

George Zimmerman in court

Here is the full narrative of the allegations against George Zimmerman from the police report:

On December 16th, 2017 Dennis Warren contacted the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office to report that he was receiving harassing communication and threats from George Zimmerman.

Warren advised that he works as a private investigator and was recently hired, in September of 2017, by production company Cinemart Productions. Warren advised that he was requested to assist in locating individuals who may have interest in participating in a documentary centered around the life of Treyvon Martin and the incidents leading to his death by George Zimmerman in February of 2012.

On September 21st, 2017, Warren advised that he located a phone number for Zimmerman and left a voicemail and text message explaining that the producer of the documentary, Mike Gasparro, desired to obtain his possible participation and/or involvement in the upcoming film. Warren also provided Zimmerman with a direct contact number for the producer within the voicemail message. Shortly after leaving the messages, the producer received a phone call from Zimmerman, who discussed the content of the production.

Warren advised that outside of the initial text message and voicemail sent to Zimmerman, on September 21st of 2017, he made no further attempts to speak, locate, or meet directly with Zimmerman.

On December 13th, 2017, Warren received a phone call from the producer, Gasparro, informing him that Zimmerman, who had been interacting with him over the course of the last several months, was extremely agitated and sending him what he perceived to be physical threats against himself and Warren. The threats pertained to their direct involvement in contacting and soliciting the potential participation of his family members for the production.

Gasparro proceeded to advise Warren that he received several text messages from Zimmerman stating, “Help Mrs. Warren out and give him a heads up, I’m going to find him. And I’m bringing hell with me.” He also stated, “Dennis is a F**KING PU**Y WHO BOTHERED MY UNCLE IN HIS HOME. Local OR former law officer He’s well on his way to the inside of a gator as well. 10-4?”

On December 16th, 2017, Warren stated that he too began receiving direct communication from Zimmerman. In total, Warren received 21 phone calls, 38 text messages, and 7 voicemails in just over a 2 hour span between the hours of 1123 hrs. and 1350 hrs. In the text messages received, Zimmerman stated “Answer your phone. PU**Y!” And continued to repeat statements of, “I’ll see you before you realize it.” Based upon concern for his personal safety and the safety of his family, Warren immediately notified the Sheriff’s Office to request assistance in reporting the unwanted and threatening communication.

During my initial contact with Warren, On December 16th of 2017, I advised him to send a single response to Zimmerman requesting that he cease all communications or he would pursue the assistance of law enforcement.

Immediately following the request to cease communication, Zimmerman responded “No!” He also stated, “Pursue charges,” and “Text me again. I’ll show up at your home you F**KING PU**Y!!!” Zimmerman also sent Warren two separate text messages containing a website link to a news article posted on Theblast.com. In the forwarded link, Zimmerman was quoted as saying “I know how to handle people who f**k with me, I have since February of 2012.” And, “Anyone who f**ks with my parents will be fed to an alligator.” Warren stated these threats created a concern for his physical safety.

Zimmerman continued sending threatening text messages, emails, and making repeated unwanted phone calls to Warren’s phone. Zimmerman also proceeded to leave numerous voicemail messages on Warren’s phone. The voicemails contained what appeared to be ticking sounds and tones that would slowly increase in frequency and speed over the length of the message. Due to the amount of messages being left by Zimmerman, Warren’s voicemail box became filled. Zimmerman then proceeded to send text messages and emails to Warren, in which he continued stating “Your voice mail box is full.” And, “Answer your phone PU**Y!”

Between December 16th and December 25th of 2017, Warren received the following harassing and threatening communication from Zimmerman:

55 phone calls from 407-***-****.
67 text messages from 407-***-****
36 recorded voicemails from 407-***-****
27 Emails from g*************@gmail.com

A digital forensic inspection of Warren’s phone was completed, which confirmed the contact was not mutual in nature and only included incoming communications that were not engaged or returned by Warren. (A copy of the collected text messages, phone logs, emails, and recordings of the voicemail messages were logged into SCSO Evidence.)

Based upon Zimmerman’s continued actions, Sgt. Seiple of the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office placed a call to him on January 3rd, 2018. The phone call was made to phone number (407)***-****, which is the same number Zimmerman provided to our agency during our previous contacts with him. Sgt. Seiple is personally familiar with Zimmerman, from prior interactions with him both in person and through phone communications.

Upon the monitored phone call being answered, Sgt. Seiple stated “Is this George Zimmerman?” To which a male responded “Who is this?” Sgt. Seiple then identified herself by name and agency, at which time Zimmerman responded, “You f**king c**t, what do you want?” And, “What are you calling me for you f**king wh*re!?” During this dialogue, Sgt. Seiple stated that she was calling in reference to a report being made by Dennis Warren for unwanted communication. In response, Zimmerman continued to scream profanity’ and berate Sgt. Seiple. Sgt. Seiple then stated, “I can’t believe you are acting like this George. I don’t know if you remember or know who this is that you are talking to.” To which he responded, ‘You are the f**king blonde c**t who arrested me on Samantha!” And, “You have been involved with me since that Martin kid!” I was present throughout the phone call and could overhear the dialogue and conversations being held.

Based upon Sgt. Seiple’s prior interactions with Zimmerman and the dialogue held during the 5-minute phone call, it was determined that the person speaking on the other line was in fact George Zimmerman. This was supported by the fact that he provided personal details and information related to our previous investigations that only he would be privy to.

During this phone call, Sgt. Seiple asked Zimmerman why he was making repeated contact with Warren, to which he replied, “He contacted my uncle, but you guys don’t want to help me with that!” He then continued yelling profanities and calling Sgt. Seiple a “c**t” and “wh*re.” He also stated, “I have the Sheriff’s number and I will be filing a complaint with him.”

Moments after the phone call concluded, Zimmerman contacted our agency requesting to speak with the command staff. A short while later he was directed to Chief Purcell who spoke with him on the phone. During this phone call, George Zimmerman identified himself and advised that he was present with his attorney. Zimmerman then began expressing frustration over being contacted by Sgt. Seiple and requested all further communication be done directly through his attorney. Zimmerman then provided our agency with two contact numbers for his attorney. Zimmerman also confirmed that the number we had on file, 407-***-****, still belonged to him and could be used to reach him. Zimmerman also provided an additional phone number which he stated was private and used solely by family members.

During our communication with Zimmerman, it was determined that he was directly involved in sending harassing and threatening messages to Warren – through the use of electronic communication. It was also evident, by the content of Zimmerman’s communication, that he had sufficient personal information on Warren’s personal affairs and whereabouts of his family. Warren stated that these facts, coupled with the direct references to do personal harm, created a well-founded fear for the personal safety of himself and his family. Warren was also aware, through his personal knowledge in investigating and speaking to persons previously involved with Zimmerman, that Zimmerman still maintained a local address in the area and has previous violent encounters. As a result, Warren has taken several steps to increase his families’ personal safety and has had to modify their day to day activities.

Based upon the information available, probable cause exists to show that Zimmerman had in fact used electronic communication to send threatening and harassing communication to Warren. This continued pattern of conduct and nature of the communication created a reasonable fear in Warren that the safety of himself and his family was at risk of physical harm and/or a violent encounter with Zimmerman. Therefore, this capias request is being forwarded and requested that charges be filed against Zimmerman for Aggravated Stalking.
