Emily Maynard is moving to Texas to be with Brad Womack?
The Bachelor‘s Brad Womack and the love of his life Emily Maynard have had a rough go in their few months together, arguing often and even breaking up and getting back together before anyone even knew they were officially a couple. After the season finale Brad and Emily talked candidly abut their relationship and it sounded as though the two had taken a few steps back from their engagement and were essentially casually dating. But, according to an article in the latest issue of Life & Style, Bremily are about to take another small step forward because Emily is packing up her bags (and daughter Riccki) and moving to Texas!
From Life & Style:
“She feels like the best thing to do is to give this a real shot and put her heart into it by moving to Austin for the summer,” says an insider close to Emily, 25. “She’s going to get her own condo there. She’s not moving in with him.” Brad, 38, has made it clear that the only thing he refuses to bend on is where he and his future wife will live. “I know love is a compromise, but that’s the only thing that I was very adamant about,” he tells Life & Style. “I have some very strong roots there. I don’t want to relocate. I have a career in Austin.” And although Emily had reservations about moving, she’s now focused on giving it a try.
Just like most of America I have a small crush on Emily so I really wish her the best! And, in honor of her move to Texas, I offer up this Lyle Lovett classic as a musical welcome wagon for her and daughter RIcki:
