More than 2 years after separating, Courteney Cox and David Arquette are officially divorced.
Courteney and David split back in October 2010 but didn’t file for divorce until June 2012.
A judge in Los Angeles Superior Court entered a final judgment for the divorce today officially ending the union after 12-years of marriage.
Both have indicated that they would remain friends and would raise their 8-year-old daughter Coco. Each had filed for joint legal and physical custody and it’s assumed that this was part of the final agreement.
During the Scream 4 premiere in April of 2011, the two were photographed together and Arquette said at the time, “We’re best friends, we’re not together, we’re still separated… these tabloids make it like there’s some sort of scandal going on — there’s no scandal!”
