Catfish Season 2 premiere date and details announced by MTV

Nev Schulman Catfish Season 2

MTV announced back in December that their hugely popular reality series Catfish: The TV Show would be returning for a second season and since that time the hairy-chested Nev Schulman and sidekick Max Joseph have been hard at work baiting their hooks and reeling in an all new mess of catfish! And by “mess” of catfish I mean 16, as MTV announced last week that Catfish Season 2 will feature 16 episodes and will premiere on Tuesday, June 25 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT!

According to the press release, “viewers will join hosts Nev Schulman and Max Joseph in their cross-country journey uniting young couples taking their online-only romantic relationships offline and in person. This season everything is elevated: the catfish are more sophisticated, the investigations are deeper, the stakes are higher and emotions are intense.”
