Kim Zolciak’s spin-off gets a new name

Kim Zolciak has had one heck of a week. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star officially announced that she will not be returning to the show following the upcoming December 2nd episode. After her announcement, rumors swirled that she had been fired, but then, it was announced that Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding would be returning to Bravo as a full time spin-off with a different name.

Kim Zolciak’s dad claims she’s a ‘pathological liar’

Kim Zolciak and her mother Karen had an epic falling out at Kim’s wedding when Karen went in to Kim’s home to use the bathroom instead of using the designated guest porta-potty. After failing to obey the rules, Kim phoned the police and had Karen escorted out in what made for a dramatic moment on Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding. Several months later, Karen filed documents for grandparent rights to Kim’s children which started a war in court with both parties hurling ugly accusations at the other. Kim’s kids even sent the judge a letter claiming they don’t want Grandma Karen in their lives. Now, Kim’s dad Joe is getting in on the action.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her Atlanta Falcons hubby have another son together and Kim has two older children from a previous marriage. As family oriented as Kim and Kroy may seem to be, Kim’s mother Karen claims Kim has been keeping her grandchildren from her.

Kim Zolciak stole our hearts with a dance version of “Tardy for the Party” (a country song reworked by Kandi Burruss,) then she asked us to “Google Me” (she didn’t have to ask!) Now, she’s gone back her her country aspirations with a new single “Love Me First.”

Kim Zolciak’s spin-off Bravo show to be titled “Don’t Be Tardy For the Wedding”

It was announced months ago that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak would be getting her own spin-off reality series on Bravo with the assumption that her wedding to Kroy Biermann would play a major part in it. That assumption was confirmed today as Bravo and NBCUniversal announced that Kim’s “docu-series” will be titled Don’t Be Tardy For the Wedding, a playful spin on Zolciak’s kitschy Top Ten dance tune “Don’t Be Tardy For the Party.” Keep reading for the full press release.
