Conan O’Brien ended his 20-plus years of working for NBC tonight and not only did he do it with class and dignity, he did it with the Godfather of Grunge Neil Young!!

Conan introduced Neil Young by saying that after it was announced that Conan would no longer be the host of The Tonight Show, Neil was the first to call and offer his support. Neil delivered an acoustic performance of “Long May You Run” that must have punched Conan right in the chrome heart.
