Starcasm’s early pick as a possible winner for this season’s American Idol, Pia Toscano, FINALLY went after an up-tempo song and delivered with an energetic and powerhouse performance.
It was Rock & Roll Hall of Fame week on American Idol so Mama Mia Pia went after Tina Turner’s version of the classic “River Deep Mountain High.” Here’s the clip of the performance that will be followed by each judge’s positive comments and some images from the Pia rock out:
Steven Tyler: Murder. Murderer. You killed it! Pia, you’ve got to know. There are a million guys out there in a million bars having a million drinks about you tonight.
JLo: It’s amazing. You are really really really special up there. Again, I’m going to keep pushing you because when you see greatness…I am here to help you…get that performance into it.
Randy Jackson: You could definitely deliver on an up-tempo and you did that tonight. Jennifer is right, all you need to do now is work on the movement.
