The internet just got a little foxier courtesy of Hollywood hottie Megan Fox, who finally went and got herself an instagram account! The 28-year-old actress posted the photo of herself above yesterday and captioned it with, “First IG selfie. Early morning no makeup filter”
The make-up-free selfie actually wasn’t Megan’s first instagram pic as she uploaded this next photo that includes the Michelle K quote, “Some women are lost in the fire. Some women are built from it.”
In addition to the two photos, Megan (who uses the instagram handle @the_native_tiger) also provided a rather verbose description of herself complete with a colorful array of emoji:
As far as why Megan chose now to join instagram, I’m guessing it has something to do with the fact that she is starring in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie (her first major film project in two years) and she wanted to have an instagram account available as the wonderful marketing tool it is.
Let’s just hope Megan’s instagram venture goes a little better than her Twitter experience. Megan signed up on January 3, 2013 and tweeted 29 times over five days before throwing in the towel. Her last tweet was on January 9, 2013:

Perhaps the new movie will see Megan back on Twitter? I suppose we will find out soon enough! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is scheduled to be released on August 8. Cowabunga! Actually, I’m thinking they may be changing that to “Foxabunga!” 🙂
