It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Grumpy Cat!
The internet’s most famous feline, and that’s a heck of a title y’all, has signed up to star in her own holiday film for Lifetime. The pouty-faced puss will be the lead in the live-action Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever.
GC, real name Tardar Sauce, will play the role of a pet-store kitty that is perpetually overlooked until a 12-year-old girl discovers that she can communicate with the feline.
A suit with Lifetime told THR:
“It brings fun and irreverence that we haven’t had at Lifetime. We’re so known for our heartfelt sentimentality that it will poke fun at those stereotypes.”

Lifetime is casting the voice for Grumpy Cat as I type this. A quick survey of our staff came up with the following suggestions; Rachel Dratch, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Janeane Garofalo, Winona Ryder and Mama June from Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
We’d love to hear your suggestions for who should voice Grumpy below even if she could care less.
