Mazel tov to Andy Cohen! The face of Bravo and the host of Watch What Happens Live has just announced that he is going to be a dad!
Andy revealed the HUGE news at the end of a HUGE night in The Clubhouse as he celebrated the holiday season with a special “O Come OG Faithful” WWHL episode that included no fewer than FIVE OG housewives from different franchises. Vicki Gunvalson, Ramona Singer, NeNe Leakes, Kyle Richards and Teresa Giudice were all in attendance as Andy made the emotional announcement:

Tonight I want to share a little personal news of my own. To the viewers at home, I call you my friends at home because we are friends. You have supported me through almost 10 years of live… This has been an incredible joyous journey with you all. I am grateful to be able to live my dream every day and grateful to you for coming along for the ride. And throughout it, I’ve always tried to be as transparent as possible about my life — I overshare and I expect everyone around me to do the same.
Tonight, I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science — if all goes according to plan in, about six weeks time, I’m going to become a father thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future.
Family means everything to me and having one of my own is something that I have wanted in my heart for my entire life. And though it’s taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet.

We didn’t get any Andy-tails about the baby, aside from the due date, so it’s not clear if it will be a boy or a girl, or possibly even twins! Andy stated back in March that he was single, and there have been no reports of a new significant other in his life since. So, it may be Andy, a hound dog, and about 40 housewives raising this child.
Once again, congratulations to Andy Cohen on the wonderful news! I cannot even begin to imagine what a wonderful life that child has to look forward to — full of joy, humor, love, and wonder.
