As former Teen Mom OG couple Amber Portwood and Andrew Glennon continue their drawn out custody battle for son James in the Indiana courts, the two also continue to battle it out in the court of public opinion. In the latest of a long series of back-and-forths on social media after Amber’s MTV interview with Dr. Drew, a “family source” has leaked an audio recording of a verbal altercation between Amber and Andrew that provides a disturbing snapshot of what their relationship was like behind closed doors.
YouTuber Without A Crystal Ball shared the audio clip as part of a video (included below) on Thursday. WACB explains that the audio was provided to her by a “family source” who says the argument was because Andrew woke Amber up at roughly 2PM to go to an appointment. It’s unclear how much later the audio was recorded. It’s also unclear exactly what date the audio is from.
A major part of the couple’s “conversation” centers around a series of cameras that Andrew installed in the house when they were recently out of town for a number of weeks. It’s unclear if it was one of these cameras that recorded the audio. Andrew says at one point that there isn’t a camera in the room because Amber destroyed it with a sword. WACB shares some photos of a ring camera that looks to have been chopped a number of times by a sharp object.

The audio begins with the sound of a baby gurgling, which is assumed to be James. We then hear Amber using her infamous outside voice, laden with profanity. Here is a full transcript:
AMBER: If you don’t pick him up, you f***ing fat piece of sh*t, I’m going to f***ing stab you!
ANDREW: I thought you were watching him?
AMBER: Get your fat a** and get him!
ANDREW: See, I thought you were watching him.
AMBER: No, I’m looking for a house to leave.
ANDREW: Why? Why do you want to leave?
AMBER: Because you’re f***ing [inaudible].
ANDREW: No I don’t, I don’t know why.
AMBER: I’m not watching him today. You’re f***ing stupid!
ANDREW: You sit here and throw him at me?
AMBER: I’m not going to watch [inaudible] after what you did!
ANDREW: Babe, stop.
[LOUD BANG]
AMBER: Where’s the camera at in here? Where’s the camera?
ANDREW: Babe, shut up. You’re —
AMBER: Show me your f***ing camera, b*tch!
ANDREW: There’s no camera. you chopped it with a sword.
AMBER: Because you had cameras in my f***ing room!
ANDREW: Because we weren’t here, we were traveling.
AMBER: You had cameras everywhere!
ANDREW: Baby, we were traveling.
AMBER: What kind of life is that?
ANDREW: Baby, we were traveling, that’s why it was in the bedroom.
ANDREW: [To James I assume] Ooo, I love you more than life itself.
AMBER: Why don’t you take pictures of this stuff you little b*tch?
ANDREW: Babe, there’s nothing to take pictures of.
AMBER: [Muffled clanging noises] Oh. Uh huh. [inaudible]
ANDREW: Jesus Christ.
AMBER: Yeah, that’s you. You’re a little f***ing pu**y. I bet you if you got in trouble you would sit there and take on 30 people.
ANDREW: Ha!
AMBER: Yeah! Yeah! You would, ’cause you’d get raped!
ANDREW: What? Babe, what are you even saying right now? I’m not going to take pictures of —
AMBER: Nobody — Nobody would ever do that. Nobody would just sit there and take f***ing videos of people. Nobody would do that in a regular relationship. It’s only because I’m on television that you even f***ing do that. You’re a scummy little b*tch!
ANDREW: No, it’s because you’re attacking me.
AMBER: That’s — I wasn’t attacking you , Andrew!
ANDREW: Then what do you call it?
AMBER: I will do whatever I please! I am five foot f***ing two! For you to sit there and say I attacked you? I will not do this sh*t again.
ANDREW: Baby [inaudible]
AMBER: I’m going to have lawyers up the a**!
ANDREW: You —
AMBER: People say things when they’re p*ssed off all the time, that’s not an excuse. And no, it will not hold up in f***ing court!
ANDREW: Yeah, but to say “I’m going to f***ing kill you” —
AMBER: And for you to even think that I don’t know anything about court, you need to think again.
ANDREW: Yes, but for you to say “I will kill you,” it’s, like, really scary, OK?
AMBER: You are really dumb, OK? Like, for you to even say it’s that is stupid and retarded and you’re an idiot! [Inaudible] You should not have woke me up like that this morning. I told you a million times!

Soon after the audio was published, The Ashley shared some exclusive details about Amber’s weapon collection. In addition to the machete that she wielded against Andrew and James on the night that she was arrested, Amber does indeed have a sword. A production source reveals that Amber keeps the sword in her bedroom, and the Ashley posted photos of it that show “Mother Goddess” engraved in the blade.
“She also had a hatchet and a hunting knife, at one time or another, that people have seen [while filming was taking place],” the source added.
UPDATE – In response to The Ashley’s article about Amber’s array of weapons, her brother Shawn Portwood clarified that the weapons Amber used to smash the camera(s) and threatened to kill Andrew with were actually purchased by Andrew:
None of that stuff is hers. Andrew bought all of that stuff. He bought a lot of it without her even knowing it with her money.

Meanwhile, Andrew continues to defend himself in the comments section of his Instagram account. Here’s one of his recent entries in which he talks about the negative impact that being with Amber has had on his life:

I don’t believe Amber has responded to the audio leak publicly yet, but I cannot imagine she will be able to remain silent for very long.
Speaking of Amber not remaining silent, since I added commentary from Andrew, I feel I should award Amber the same courtesy. Here she is during a recent Instagram live session. I will set it up by pointing out that Andrew claimed Amber missed her hour with son James one week so that she could record her interview with Dr. Drew. Also, Andrew had mentioned that it didn’t seem fair that MTV gave Amber a platform to talk about what happened, but they didn’t allow him the same opportunity.
