Alyssa Milano welcomed baby girl, named her by uniquely blending two traditional monikers
Alyssa Milano became a second-time mom this morning when she welcomed a daughter with husband David Bugliari.
“Mommy and baby are doing wonderfully,” the Mistresses star’s rep told People, adding 7-lb., 7-oz. “Elizabella Dylan Bugliari” arrived this morning.
Although both halves of the new baby’s name are traditional, the combination of “Eliza” and “Bella” is actually quite unique: According to the Social Security Administration, “Elizabella” hasn’t cracked the list of Top 1,000 Most Popular Girls Names for the past 14 years. How Many of Me, which draws from census information, estimates fewer than 1,500 women in the United States are named Elizabella.
The new baby joins her more commonly named older brother, Milo, who just turned three.
Alyssa announced her second pregnancy last spring. She later revealed the new baby would be a girl in a cute video.
“I am expecting a little sweet baby girl. David, Milo and I could not be happier. Truly, we could not be happier. So exciting!”
