90 DAY FIANCÉ Are Nicole and Azan still together in 2021?

Longtime 90 Day Fiancé alums Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou have probably been broken up for a while, but a couple of weeks ago Nicole confirmed that they are, indeed, split up. She didn’t reveal exactly why they broke up.

The first clue that they were no longer together was when Nicole removed “engaged to h” and the ring emoji from her Instagram bio in January 2021. “H” is a reference to Azan’s legal name, Hassan M’Raouni,

About six months later, on July 12, 2021 Nicole teased on her Instagram stories that she had an announcement to make at 3 p.m.

She then delivered with the news:

“I am heartbroken to confirm Azan & I are DONE FOR GOOD. 💔 Swipe up for my statement.” The link went to a an exclusive Celebuzz article where Nicole is quoted as saying: “Azan and I have decided to go our separate ways. We had much love and respect for each other, but we weren’t without our faults. Unfortunately, we can no longer continue our journey together. This may be a shock to many because we stayed strong for so long through it all.”

Of course, for some it may have been a shock, but Nicole and Azan’s relationship has been riddled with trouble from the start. They have called off their wedding twice, most recently in 2018 when they lied and said they were going to use the wedding money to open a beauty store in Morrocco. The beauty store never materialized, and Nicole later revealed that they lied because the reality show was pressuring them to move too quickly.

Nicole quarantined with Azan for five months in his home country of Morroco at the start of the pandemic in 2020. She had trouble making it home to the U.S. because of COVID travel restrictions, but was able to secure a special flight for Americans trying to get home from abroad. At the time Nichole wanted to stay by Azan’s side, but she had to come home for her daughter May.

Nicole has other sad news in her life. Her dad Tyler has been homeless for a while now and was recently sentenced to prison for multiple felonies.
