Lea Michele, the star of Glee, has recently went on a slew of interviews congratulating herself for not getting a nose job. She told GQ, via Radaronline:
“I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn’t get one,” Michele said. “And if anybody needed it, I probably did. But my mom always told me, growing up, ‘Barbra Streisand didn’t get a nose job. You’re not getting a nosejob.’ And I didn’t. That’s why I’m proud to be on a positive show and to be a voice for girls and say, ‘You don’t need to look like everybody else. Love who you are.’”
The only trouble with that is that she might have gotten a nose job. Here’s a side-by-side from Star Magazine that really makes you wonder:. The nostrils look a little less flared now, and it appears to be a generally thinner nose, but still not super-small.
It definitely looks like a difference, but there may be some sort of manipulation with the pic, as a commenter below mentions. What do you think?
You can’t judge from that her whole face is different shape it is called growing up and maturing.
And if she got a nose job why would it still be considered big but some.
This is just ridiculous leave this woman alone already.
Okay seriously? She did NOT get a nose job, and anyone who thinks she has obviously did not look at the pictures right. First of all, she isn’t old, age really does not count into this. How I know she did not get a nose job is by this, you can take the test yourself if you like. Look in a mirror and look at your nose when you make a straight face. Now, look at your nose when you smile. See a difference? I would hope so, because your nostrils flair when you smile. In Lea Michelle’s yearbook photo she have a very wide smile on her face, the newer photo she isn’t smiling at all, making her nose look smaller because it is not flaired. I hope this cleared up any confusion people may have.

Seriously? Look at both pictures… in the 2004 picture, ALL of her features are widened, like the photo had been stretched. I doubt she got a nose job… I think someone was just desperate to get their story out on time.
Her mom was very right; nose stays if you want to have a vocal career, your nose is your very fine instrument, extremely sensitive to any surgical intervention. Do not touch it! (example: Barbara Streisand)
She DID get a nose job it is soo obvious, I knew as soon as this season started I realized that she looked different I just couldn’t put my finger on it until I saw the sectionals episode, and there was a close up on her face. I always thought she would give in to the Hollywood pressure… I have also noticed that she has lost a substantial amount of weight. But it is just the Hollywood machine…. it will eat you up.
yes she didn’t look different becasue she has bangs or lost weight. Don’t be a fool. She wouldn’t have gotten a nice after she was seen on tv all year. Plus she has not reason to get one.

The more recent photo was definitely altered take a look at the picture in the link below, it’s the same exact nose she had before. If she got a nose job it she would have gotten it much smaller than it is now!

In the first picture, her big smile is what’s making her nostrils flare and her nose look bigger. In the second photo, her mouth is just barely open, so her nostrils are not flared. She seems very proud of who she is, as she should be! Lea is beautiful inside and out. I would be absolutely shocked if she got a nose job.
She definitely did not get a nose job, ever heard of facial muscles people? In the first picture she has a big smile on, which widens her nose, and in the ‘after’ picture, she barely has her mouth open. If she did get a nose job, she should sue her plastic surgeon for making no difference at all. When my mouth is closed and I’m not smiling, I have a nose like Leona Lewis, when I’m smiling, I have a nose like Beyonce, it varies so much.
im just watchin first season of glee andd ya its a definite nose job!! It was quite bulgy compared 2 now.
You people are idiots she didn’t get a nose job and most defiantly did not get one from seasons one to season 2.
Why do people try to make shit up. Most women s faces change theitr early 20s it is just maturing. Not to mention I am sure she has some make up tips to help with her nose.

Hello NOSE! When I turned on the very 1st episode, I was like Hello Nose Job. Her bulbous nose is not that round now. She definitely got the round part slimmed down. Her nose is still not pretty, but its not as bad as the clown nose she had before. She looks good now.

there is a difference in pictures b ut it could be some manipulation with the photos or she mightve just grown into it.
a persone can almost change his or her entire look with make up.. the difference does not necessarily mean she got a nose job…
It’s OBVIOUS that she’s just used some nose contouring ! Look at the sides of her nose in the after picture. It’s DARKER than her natural skin tone . Why ? Because using DARKER makeup on the sides of your nose makes it look thinner . The bridge of her nose ? Lighter ! This ALSO makes the nose look thinner . I use this process EVERY single day . I get asked by colleagues , “Did you … Have some surgery done ?” when they see pictures of me from when I was younger .
You cant look at a picture of somebody when there still a teenager to tell if somebody has had a nose job or not. When I look at pictures of myself as a teen my nose looks wider because my face was fuller. I don’t think she had a nose job because she still has a big nose, and it looks nearly the same. The face becomes thinner as you age so her nose could have just gotten slightly smaller (that’s what happened to me).
Honestly it looks more like she lost weight.
You can’t compare a picture of her smiling to a picture of her not smiling. Noses look completely different when you have neutral face than when you’re actually grinning. Come on now. She didn’t get a nose job.
she probably didn’t get 1 bcs one on the 1 picture she is smiling a lot and the 2 one she’s not and everybody know that uwhen u smile your nostrils gets bigger and if y look closely u can see that the end of her nose is the same

As a woman with a generous nose, I know our noses are a little plumper in high school and they tone down as we mature. She’s got a huge smile in the 1st photo, and that also increases the appearance of one’s nose. I’d bet my house she has not had a nose job.
She has still got a big ugly nose so if she has, may I suggest a different surgeon???
she did get a nose job u can tell from the picture but on the other hand she probaly didnt get a nose job cuz wen ur getting older things change
1) She could have lost weight
2) different angles
3) she’s not stupid enough to get a nose job and ruin both her voice and her face
4) she said she wasn’t going to get a nose job
5) now get over it and leave her alone.
I have to mention, I’m a make-up artist, and many of my customers have rather large noses AND/OR do not have a prominent nose bridge. They always tell me to do their make-up in a way that makes their nose look small. So, my magic trick is using a bronzer around the sides of the nose bridge, and honestly speaking, that’s what it looks to me, and by the looks of her left side, I can clearly see the same kind of result I usually end up with. Nose flare may look smaller, but in a matter of eight years, even my nose shape changed. Media has seriously started to over-analyze certain things…
