“Tik Tok” singing pop star Ke$ha has received a ton of negative press for her questionable fashion choices, but during this morning’s Today Show performance in NYC she had an answer: have her dancers wear the most ridiculous get ups imaginable! Amazingly, I think her plan worked!
She performed her hit songs “Tik Tok,” “Your Love is My Drug” and her new single “Take It Off” on the plaza to a huge crowd who witnessed some of the most mind-boggling dancer gear in the history of pop performance. Kesha had her usual odd Hot Topic blend of tank tops, mesh stockings and stripper boots but she had nothing on the boy-toy fleet footed golden squad that blinded eyes and set back the New York fashion scene twenty years.
Lets take a look at the three performances and then we’ll get one more photo of the new gold standard in dance fashion.

Allrighty then. You’ve got to give it to Matt Lauer, he hangs in with his interviews even under the most tense of golden rod situations. Now back to those dancers in all their glory. Ladie$ and gentleman I pre$ent to you The Golden Show-ers:
Take it Off? No PUT IT ON, put it all back on now golden ones please! This had to be some sort of Jedi mind trick because I hardly even noticed Ke$ha’s 472 wrist bracelets. If you were unable to catch the videos you missed a few things. The first is that the production crew knew what to expect and kept the angle as wide as possible during the gold show. The second thing you would have missed is this MIWLTAWSISIKM (Mom I Would Like To Ask Why She Is So Into Ke$ha’s Music) absolutely losing it:
And the third and somewhat tragic sighting was the following poor child completely decked out as if one day he might sport the cheeky gold. His blank stare and stern dance moves I will never forget even though I would very much like to:
This looked like one of those parties momma told me not to come to. For the sake of fashion I’ll close out this post with a couple of Ke$ha shots to prove that she may side track us for a while but that once we’ve recovered our senses we’re still on to the Hot Topic that is her wardrobe disaster!
