Bikinis and pizza are undoubtedly two of mankind’s greatest creations — and now, in honor of National Bikini Day, international restaurant chain Villa Italian Kitchen is offering both together in the form of the $10,000 Pizza-Kini!

The chain shared photos (above) of a blonde model sporting the pizzakini on their Facebook page this week along with the following announcement:

Introducing Villa Italian Kitchen’s Pizza-Kini: the world’s most mouthwatering bikini! Now you can wear your favorite pizza! For just $10,000, we’ll set you up with our food stylist and help you get fitted for your own suit made from only the freshest ingredients, including homemade, hand-braided dough, 100 percent whole milk mozzarella cheese, sauce made from fresh California tomatoes and delicious pepperoni – all in honor of #NationalBikiniDay. Just message us to get started, but hurry – the most delicious swimwear on Earth is available in limited quantities and available for order on July 5 only! #VIK #Pizzakini #pizza #pepperoni

A commenter named Stew questioned the high price tag, especially given how little actual pizza it would take to make a bikini for most folks. ” Hi Stew, it might seem steep but, the Pizza-Kini is a completely customized piece that involves both a consultation and
personal fitting with a food stylist,” a restaurant rep explained. “The work on the pizza is so meticulous and the attention to detail is such that the project requires a certain amount of time and involvement.”

Everbody sing…

? She wore an itsy-bitsy,
teeny-weeny, pepperoni Pizza-Kini… ?

Some apparently doubted the authenticity of the Pizza-Kini in the photos, so the page shared a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot in which you can see the Pizza-Kini in action:

“If you thought the Pizza-Kini was too good to be true, check out this exclusive behind-the-scenes clip from our photoshoot to see it in action,” the page captioned the clip. “Don’t forget to place your orders on July 5 – in honor of #NationalBikiniDay, our limited supply of Pizza-Kinis are being offered for just one day only! #VIK #Pizzakini #NationalBikiniDay #Pizza #PepperoniPizza.”

According to the Facebook post tags, the model in the shoot is named Michelle Vankerkom. I checked out Michelle’s Facebook page, which indicates she became a vegetarian in 2008. I’m guessing she will be popping off those pepperoni before chowing down on her swimsuit!

OK folks — let’s pretend the Pizza-Kini price tag is just $10 instead of $10,000. How many of you know someone that would be brave enough to try it out? And would you be brave enough to have a slice afterward?

Meanwhile, is there any way someone could create a Kickstarter to raise the ten grand to buy a Pizza-Kini for Katy Perry? Something tells me she would be game if we raised the “dough!” 😉
