WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!

The season finale part 1 of Married at First Sight was a major let down for fans anxiously awaiting the fate of the three couples. Instead of finding out which couples stayed together and which divorced, the episode turned out to be a 55-minute recap of the entire season with only one decision day outcome: David and Ashley.

Since everyone was certain Ashley would choose divorce, there was nothing surprising about Tuesday night’s finale. It left fans waiting another week to see if Sam & Neil and Tres & Vanessa stay together or get a divorce. Or did it…

Yesterday, people began reporting that they were privy to see the entire season finale, both part 1 and part 2. According to these spoiler makers, they claim Amazon Prime erroneously released both episodes together.

These reports began surfacing yesterday midday but by last night, Amazon Prime fixed the issue, and the video was no longer available for download.

***If you don’t want to know any spoilers, stop reading now.***

Initially, I was skeptical about the whole thing until I saw it for myself! A Reddit user came forward to reveal the spoilers and uploaded a clip of the final episode to YouTube.

The short video shows Neil discussing his feelings with Sam right before telling her his ultimate decision.

We wouldn’t be surprised if the video gets taken down soon so hurry up and watch it while you can!

For those of you who can’t wait until next week to learn the fate of Sam & Neil and Vanessa & Tres, here is the full episode recap summarized by the people who saw the episode themselves.

Sam and Neil:

Married at first Sight Spoiler 2

Sam goes first and pours her heart out along with her greatest fear being that Neil won’t pick her and that she’ll “deserve it”. Awful build up followed by him saying that he “is fully committed…” to “getting a divorce”.

Sam runs out of the room sobbing and is consoled by the doctor outside. It wasn’t little tears either. It was big sobs where she had difficulty getting the words out. It’s gut wrenching, but Neil says he is unwaivering in his decision, though his intent isn’t to hurt her.

He sites the way she treated him the first couple of weeks as a contributing factor to his decision. He explains that while there were times he was happy during the experiment, he’s also been very unhappy. He’s not holding the first two weeks against Sam, but it had a big impact.

They meet the next day at Neil’s house, and it’s a very civil conversation. He understands Sam is hurt and it’ll take a while, but when she is ready, he wants to be friends. Sam seemed better, not as upset. She actually said that the way she felt during the decision moment and how hurt she was is probably how hurt Neil was during the first couple of weeks, only Neil internalized it more. She then said she had to go and hugged Neil, told him not to feel bad, and thanked him for everything he taught her. He thanked her for the same.

Vanessa and Tres:

Vanessa went first and said she wanted to stay married. Pause for massively dramatic effect and Tres agreed. They look super happy. The doctors were both misty eyed. They go home and he gives her a bejeweled dog collar for the pup. They both appear in love.

Are you as surprised as I am?

Even though we know the outcome of the final episode, it’s yet to be seen if these decisions withstand the test of time.

Remember Jaclyn and Ryan from season 2? They ended the show still married but were divorced by the time the reunion show aired.

I’m still holding out hope for Sam and Neil

The Married at First Sight season finale airs on Tuesday, March 1 at 9/8c on A&E.

I’m not holding it out for Neil and Sam she was horrible in the beginning always putting him down talking to him crazy no man is gonna wanna come home to that just like a woman wouldn’t. I know this isn’t exactly a typical relationship but that doesn’t give you the right to be disrespectful

    • The Interrogator

Let’s face it. Sam felt Neil was a turnoff right from the start, and she should have stuck with her initial gut feelings. He, on the other hand, seemed want to spite her and to get even by reeling her into his heart, then to reject her in the end. What a game player and a jerk, no matter what you think about her. No wonder he never married.

      • Hyacinth

It seems like he did want to lower the boom on her, and he got satisfaction from it.

      • Mrs C.

How did he reel her in? If she wasn’t attracted and her heart wasn’t in it how did he end up the bad guy? Maybe if Sam was a little more open minded in the beginning it would have worked out. I mean really, she called the guy a p*ssy along with other degrading names; what guy in his right mind would want to spend the rest of his life with someone like that? I’m sure those are words men don’t forget too easily.

        • jane

i kinda think he misled her too. he never said a negative insult to her as she did to him, and he was giving her hints (gifts, forcing them to live together, talking about a future home, etc.) which would indicate he actually liked her. he kept talking about how totally committed he was and etc. so instead of being honest (like Ashley was all along), he hid how he truly felt until the end – his only clue was when he said he didn’t miss her. but apparently they are still married so they must have worked it out. all the people on the show are single for a reason, none are a great catch

          • Mrs C.

We don’t know if he was debating until the very end if he wanted to stay married or separate; by the look on his face he was shocked that she was being so attentive towards him, he looked shocked when she kissed him on the cheek. She did change towards the end but by then maybe he was divided as far as his feelings towards her. He may possibly have had feelings for her even towards the end but staying with her would probably be a life of uncertainty. I can’t wait to see pt2 since the clip was removed by the time I went to watch it.

            • jane

true. he might have been conflicted. i’m more interested in seeing the reunion, since we all already know what happens in part 2.

              • Mrs C.

Yes! The reunion, we know what happened in the season 2, 6 month reunion!

              • BigDaddyB

A source last month reported Neil and Samantha were spotted in at a restaurant. Another source said they were seen together shopping at an IKEA store. Seems like they at least remain friends if they were indeed seen together.

                • jane

remember when they got married and his ex was at the wedding and sam thought it was weird? guess he’s the type of guy who stays friends with exs

                  • BigDaddyB

I watched the wedding episode another time just now. Sam really acted like a crazy person. She really was disrespectful to the whole concept of the ceremony and marriage at the altar… and also at the reception. I would have been embarrassed to have been one of her guests. Can’t imagine the thoughts going through Neil’s grandmother’s head at the time.

                  • melinehclassy

Omg what Did his ex look like? I always wondered what neils ex (if he had one) looked like

                    • SinSEAR

Dark blonde,…a little plain and mousy.

                    • melinehclassy

thats sorta what i envisioned haha thanks

          • YouKnowMe22

Wow! When is not being abusive a negative. He probably felt he was dealing with Sybil.

            • Muttley

Yes yes yes! I just said that!

      • BreBreezieBre

I have to disagree with you I don’t think Neil is a jerk at all. It’s not his fault she acted a fool in the beginning I think he was himself he continued to try and she didn’t until the last two weeks then she just woke up and realized that she had feelings for him throughout the whole process it was Sam and what she wanted. Who wants to come home to a rude spouse everyday after working all day? Well what does say about Sam never being married?

        • Muttley

He would never know which ‘Sam’ he would be coming home to.

          • BigDaddyB

Either crazy person Sam, mean and obnoxious Sam, or lovey-dovey Sam.

            • Muttley

              All versions were scary!

  • jane

i think they got back together – sam and neil. the show has never shown us a couple chatting at their houses after the decision days, so i think that’s leading up to a big ‘we love one another’ at the reunion show

  • Mrs C.

I like Sam & Neil but I can understand why he chose to divorce; I know the show was “edited” but Sam was really tough on Neil, then she flipped and became all attentive, loving, and respectful, kinda in a bi-polar kinda way. Why would Neil want that uncertainty from a spouse?
I still find it odd how Sam thought it was funny to loosen all the screws on her co-workers chair so when he sat in it it fell apart and he landed on his ass. Goes to show how immature she is.

    • Muttley

They could not edit what she really said. I would be mortified to see myself on TV. Still shocked by her at the wedding. It wasnt funny. Her father should have spanked her.

  • illinigirl

I thought I saw a tweet & pic from Sam with Neil in it. I really thought they were still together.

    • Hyacinth

They could have gotten back together since the show stopped filming. Weeks ago, someone posted that they were seen at Ikea picking out furniture.

  • MachoWoMan

I wonder if Sam and Neil are a set up to reunite and admit “love” at the reunion to make up for last years disaster??

    • jane

i think the episode may have intentionally been posted by FYI b/c of how awful last year was. if Neil/Sam or Tres/Vanessa are successes then they’d want people to come back to the show and start watching again. they were probably trying to drum up some enthusiasm for the show’s finale

  • melinehclassy

    Sam: four words: Karma.Is.A.B*tch.

    • Muttley

      Yes it is!

  • The Interrogator

Neil kind of gave a clue the last episode. Sam is better off without him. I knew instinctively that what kind of jerk was he to act like he wanted her SO much in the episodes, then when she begins to fall for him, what a fool he made of her. And, you can’t tell me didn’t know FULL WELL what he was doing when he said, “I don’t miss you”. That was hurtful and a big fat red flag! All I gotta say is that he’s a real jerk, and a gameplayer ta boot. As far as his looks go, she should have trusted her first instinct—his buggy eyes would have turned me off!

Regarding Tres & Vanessa. I truly believe they are well-suited for one another. Both have the same temperments. Both are equally attractive! And, just plain nice overall round people with no big hangups. With some marital adjustments—like his long work hours!, they should do well. Neither one of them are game players, too. Tres was also very supportive of Vanessa with some of her previous failed romances where she felt scared. But, he went out of his way to please her. And, if you don’t have that in a marriage, you’ve got nothing! They both are GIVERS, and that is truly so good to see. I give them an A- (because nobody is perfect, right?)

    • Muttley

Yes. I also hope they make it. They both seemed to be genuine.

  • Observant

What a mess! I blame the producer and selection team. Last season and this one involved guys with violent pasts. Shouldn’t that info be easy to obtain if you are going to be responsible for putting lives together? They need to do a better job researching the backgrounds of their clients.

    • Hyacinth

They didn’t do a great job of matching them, except for Tres an Vanessa. They took nice people and put them together. Yes, they’re nice, but you need more than that to be married. You must have attraction. They didn’t consider that for two of the couples at all.

      • Muttley

Vanessa is a knock-out and seems to be a nice old fashioned girl. I loved that she cooked meals. So normal.

It drove me crazy when Sam announced the ‘first dinner she made Neil’…when he made half of it himself.

        • de

and it was all from a box!

          • Muttley

Yep. Neil seemed to be open to sharing household duties. Sam wanted to go up to her bedroom and have a PJ party with her roommate and put barrettes in her hair.

      • Muttley

Oops…I just posted the same thing.

      • Crap I Find On Runs

Does anyone else think that a Sam/David and Ashley/Neil matchup would have been better? Maybe not so much Neil and Ashley, but Sam and David I think would have clicked. Ashley and Neil are both just so “blah”.

        • Hyacinth

I can’t see Sam an David, but you never know. Sam and Neil looked great on paper, as did last season’s Davina and Sean, but they just never quite meshed.

    • Muttley

Agree. These are people’s lives. I could do a better job picking. If someone says their past relationships were based on looks, dont expect that to change on the show. Part of why Tres and Vanessa worked is because they were both attractive. This show is all about drama. There is nothing real about reality TV! But…I watched.

  • johndoe01

Wow, I’m surprised about Sam & Neil, I thought they were on the good term on the last episode, especially it was so emotional when after Neil came back from Vegas and bought her stuff. After he said that he didn’t miss her and all his actions after that made me think that “now, he’s playing hard to get” and now it makes sense to me that his heart already shut down after the first 2 weeks and after that, he just acts civil to her. Knowing some girls with exact same attitude like Sam, I totally understand how Neil’s feeling, especially if Neil is a Pisces like me, he would have been totally dominated! However, I saw that Sam has changed and improved alot, but maybe it was too late?!…. One thing Neil seems to forget: this is NOT Dating services, they were married!! Giving more time, I think Neil will change his mind.

    • Muttley

Maybe Neil now has the confidence he needs (and got rid of the Smith Brothers beard!) and he can find a nice girl. Sam seemed to like to be combative. Her humor was very immature and mean-spirited. Neil is quirky yes, but his humor was just that-humor!

  • Muttley

I dont think Neil is a bad guy. I think he has manners. He was nice to rhe end. Sam’s behavior at the wedding was absurd. I think she may be bi-polar or something. She could give it out but couldnt take it.

  • BigDaddyB

Should we be surprised? No. What we are watching is just a small portion of what was actually filmed, and creatively edited. These reality shows all have writers. While probably not being scripted, these participants are most likely coached about what to say and are steered in the direction of how to react in a given situation. It’s written (edited) in such a way to catch us off guard, making us ultimately feel surprised. It makes good TV and keeps us coming back the following week.

  • HalleG

I wish two of the women from this season were paired with the two crazy guys from last season. That would have been a riot. I would have loved to see Sam taking on crazy De Nino during one of his roid rages. Sean and Ashley would be a perfect pair, the ice cold nurse and the frigid EMT, two little clinky ice cubes. A complete freeze out would have taken place on an epic level.

  • patykat

I never liked Ashley. she is so cold. I felt so bad for David at the BBQ. He left her alone my ass. quit whining and pitch in a little. by the way Ashley the camera adds 10 shades to the hair on your upper lip. hit it up girl

    • Crap I Find On Runs

Hahaha you just made my day. She showed absolutely zero emotion throughout the entire show. David was too fun for her.

  • SinSEAR

What I find is confusing is that Sam and Neil were spotted shopping together in Ikea in Dec. believe. I do hope that they will it another try,..because although it had a rocky star Sam start to fall in love with Neil.

    • BigDaddyB

This could be untrue or else it was possibly staged by the show to throw us off. The couples were not supposed to be seen together and remain silent until this is all over. If they went against their contracts, they might end up in court.

  • SinSEAR

So I keep hearing about the “6 month update” of these shows. When will this happen for Season 3?

    • BigDaddyB

Next week. Same time, same channel. Remember the weddings happened over the summer so the six month update has also already happened.

  • midwesterner

Bummer. What we saw from Sam when she ran off camera: emotional dysregulation. By age 30, most people learn how to manage their intense emotions (positive and negative) without acting out or being impulsive. From what was included in the show, she seems to struggle with it considerably. I hope she can make progress in this area.

  • HalleG

The “experts” really suck at this matching thing. Of course, they are going to blame it on the people, but they picked them!! If they can’t weed out people with social disabilities, drug addiction and basic famewhoring motives then they should just quit.
The sexologist annoys me the most, she’s such a ho-biscuit, seems like she is falling in love with all the men during the process. I get that she has sex with her clients, which are basically strangers but it doesn’t mean she should expect these women to be like her and put out to a strange man right away. She always seems to be overjoyed with the couples that hook up and looks down her nose at the women that don’t put out. However, she applauded Sean last season for saving himself, so it appears that she has double-standards. Hers always seem to be leaning with the men, that is why I see her as the ultimate Ho-Biscuit.
