Curb Your Enthusiasm actress Cheryl Hines married Robert Kennedy Jr. Saturday in front of friends and family at the Kennedy compound in Hyannisport, Massachusetts. The 48-year-old bride was photographed a bit overcome with emotion as she approached the white tent under which she and Robert, 60, said “I do.”
Cheryl wore a tea-length strapless wedding dress by Romona Keveza for the nuptials, which were held up due to heavy rain that flooded roads and put the kibosh on plans for a completely outdoor ceremony.
“Bobby, you are the most adventuresome, the most loving, the most inclusive person in our family,” Ted Kennedy, Jr. said in a toast to the couple. “And Cheryl, you are so warm, you are so unflappable.”
During the groom’s toast he recalled asking Cheryl’s on-screen husband (and on-screen ex-husband) Larry David advice about dating Cheryl because he was worried that she was an actress. “I asked Larry, ‘what was she like, shall I get involved?'” Robert said. He added that Larry’s response was “Yes,” before describing his co-star as “the most solid” person.

Music was performed by the well-known cover band The Sultans of Swing with surprise performances by Lyle Lovett and Natasha Bedingfield. Lyle reportedly performed the song “She’s No Lady” from his 1987 album Pontiac:
Other notable friends and family in attendance included Larry David, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Kevin Nealon and Ed Begley, Jr., Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey, and of course Joan and Ethel Kennedy.
Cheryl Hines and Robert Kennedy, Jr. had dated for two years prior to tying the knot. This is the second marriage for Cheryl, who has a ten-year-old daughter named Catherine Rose from her previous husband. For Robert Kennedy, Jr. this is the third trip to the altar. He has two children with his first wife, Emily Black, and four children with his second wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, who committed suicide in May of 2012 at the age of 52.
