Tonight’s episode of MTV’s 16 & Pregnant features Autumn Crittendon, a high-school sophomore from Virginia who was pregnant at the same time as her sister. Unfortunately, it seems Autumn has way more on her plate right now than the show’s airing: Her 5-month-old son, Drake, was rushed to the hospital over the weekend for a mysterious breathing problem.
Autumn indicated something was seriously wrong on Saturday night when she said she hopes Drake “gets better soon.” A few minutes later, she shared a picture of the sweetie sleeping in the ambulance “while people were trying to see how his lungs were.”
Once at the hospital, little Drake had an X-Ray taken of his chest. Autumn didn’t indicate whether it revealed anything, but did share a cute picture of fiancé Dustin Franklin with a happy-looking Drake.
The family was allowed to go home for the night, but had to return on Easter morning when it was apparent that Drake still wasn’t well.

On top everything off, Autumn was offended by the doctors’ line of questioning.
“Rude doctors annoy me,” she said. “Stop questioning me like I don’t know s**t ya I’m a teen age mom but I take care of my son and ik my son… Your looking at me like I’m dumb but I know more than u obviously [sic].”
She later added, “Just send us home if your not gonna do anything [sic].”
That ultimately seems to be what happened. (It’s unclear what, if any, treatment Drake got.) Thankfully, Autumn responded to a person on Twitter today saying that both of her boys are better.
With that scare hopefully behind them, Autumn has turned her attention to promoting tonight’s episode of 16 & Pregnant. On it, she is seen contending with then-boyfriend Dustin over his pot-smoking habit. Since the show was filmed, the pair seems to have resolved some of their issues… Leading Dustin to pop the question earlier this month. They also live together and are clearly very committed parents to baby Drake.
UPDATE Autumn explained to us that she woke up in the middle of the night to Drake choking. The X-ray revealed an air bubble on his intestines, which was making him throw up and choke on bile. The bubble naturally popped after a few hours and doctors didn’t have to treat him for anything. She added Dustin was sick from worry and lack of sleep, but they are now “happy and fine.” Good news!
