ABC Family cancels Pretty Little Liars spin-off Ravenswood after one season

Numerous sources are confirming that ABC Family has opted to not renew Ravenswood after its 10-episode first season. The Pretty Little Liars spin-off starring PLL‘s Tyler Blackburn had a huge premiere, drawing 2.1 million viewers following the fan-favorite annual Pretty Little Liars Halloween special, which had 3.2 million viewers. But, the series couldn’t seem to maintain its audience after the PLL lead in went away, with viewership dropping to 1.1 million for its fall finale.

The show got another chance to draft off of PLL when it returned in January, but managed only 1.7 million viewers despite Pretty Little Liars leading in with 3.2 million viewers.

Ravenswood featured PLL main character Caleb Rivers (played by Tyler Blackburn) and was described as “five strangers whose lives become intertwined by a deadly curse that has plagued their town for generations. They must dig into the town’s dark past to solve the mysterious curse.”

So far there has been no official announcement about the cancellation from ABC Family.
