Silver Linings Playbook actress Jennifer Lawrence looked stunning at tonight’s Oscars wearing a voluminous white Dior Haute Couture dress. That voluminosity caused a few problems, however, when Lawrence was announced the winner of the Best Actress Oscar and she had to ascend a small flight of stairs.
Jennifer recovered well and was soon her usual charismatic and graceful self as she accepted her award. Oh, and yes that was Hugh Jackman who chivalrously rushed in to help just before Jennifer was able to regain her composure. That’s why he’s an X-Men ladies and gentlemen!
It’s just like Ben Affleck said in his Best Picture acceptance speech: “It doesn’t matter that you get knocked down in life. All that matters is that you get back up.”
