Kristen Stewart issues a statement confirming she cheated on Robert Pattinson

This week’s issue of Us Weekly broke the story that Kristen Stewart appears to have cheated on her boyfriend, and Twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson with Snow White and The Huntsman‘s married director Rupert Sanders. Though many fans have remained in denial about the alleged affair, Kristen all but confirmed it in an apologetic statement released today in which she apologizes to Robert Pattinson for her actions.

Here is her statement:

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,”

  Feel bad for her? I feel bad for her boyfriend and for the wife and kids of the guy she cheated with. Spilling a glass of milk is a mistake. Cheating on your boyfriend with a married man is a conscious decision and one that shows a complete lack of respect for her boyfriend and the institution of marriage.

Its kind of weird she acknowledged this publically. If I were him, I’d rather her keep it private. But who knows. Bad on her. But she is young. What the heck was her director thinking?!

The pictures were pretty damning but I am really surprised she admitted it so quickly. He has released a statement as well. Will be interesting to see how this develops…

I sincerely hope she told him before it went public. There is no excuse for cheating. She may be young but she is old enough to know better.

I agree, it seems strange that she admitted it right away. The magazine isn’t even out yet. I honestly don’t think she owes anything to the public, just the 2 that were hurt by her actions.

I’m sure that wasn’t the only time they shared an intimate moment. Poor judgment-celebs always want privacy but they seem to carry out some of their most private moments irresponsibly. Shame on them for their actions-especially on a “professional” set. -__-

“The person I respected and loved the most. I love him, I love him” Doesn’t seem that way hun. I’m 19 and I’d never cheat on my boyfriend. I could probably look at other guys and find them cute, think that i’d go for them if i was SINGLE. But not cheat on him.

So Kristen can’t act AND she’s a cheater. I wish she’d go away already. Snow White and the Huntsman was horrible and her acting in it was atrocious. Seems she was more focused on smooching the director rather than doing a good job. It all makes sense now.
