20-year-old Teen Mom star Maci Bookout stays busy with raising her son Bentley, going to college, giving lectures, and filming a reality show. But when March roles around that means it’s time for her to take a break… SPRING BREAK!

Maci is no stranger to the age old youthful tradition of packing up the car and rolling down to the coast for a week of fun in the sun, as evidenced by her much-publicized beer bongapalooza photos from a couple years ago. But, this year there were a couple changes.

For starters, Maci has since broken up with long-time boyfriend Kyle King, so she hits the beach single and ready to mingle! Secondly, Maci spurned the Gulf Coast and the World’s Most Beautiful Beaches of Panama City Beach in favor of the Atlantic Ocean and Daytona Beach!

Maci and her carload of bitchin’ beach bodded besties crossed the Florida state line at 6:30 AM on March 7 and they stayed until Sunday morning, March 11. That meant roughly four days and nights of bikinis, martinis, and (insert weenies joke)!

In addition to partyin’, drankin’, and catching some rays, another age-old Spring Break tradition is the novelty t-shirt with an offensive photo or message – a tradition Maci honored with aplomb:

Part of me winced mightily at the sight of Maci wearing a “F*** me I’m famous” shirt because it seems to say everything the Teen Mom stars spend untold hours trying to argue against. But, another part of me kind of got a kick out of Maci wearing the shirt for the same exact reason, because clearly she is fully aware of the irony. (I’m certain most of our readers will side with the former part of me rather than the latter, but that’s completely understandable. In the end I think I’m split about 80/20 so in essence I agree it probably wasn’t a good idea – especially since it’s going to turn up on sites like TMZ with an easy-to-write sarcastic headline and hundreds of pages of vitriolic commenters piling on.)

Anyways… Here are all of the Maci Bookout 2012 Spring Break photos I could round up from her Twitter account as well as those of her friends who were along for the fun. Click thumbnails for the larger images:

And when it was all said and done, Maci returned home late Sunday night and tweeted this next photo of her and son Bentley along with the words, “reunited and feels so gooood”

On a frustrating note, someone apparently stole Maci Bookout’s Macbook laptop while she was in Daytona. An angry Maci tweeted about the theft asking that the person that took it please return her “writing folder” at least:

whoever stole my macbook … u can keep it just please email me my writing folder… oh and after that i hope u get ur hands chopped off.

Let’s just hope Maci was smart enough not to have a sex tape or compromising photos on there!

I used to like her, she was even my favorite teen mom girl but now she is got way out of control. I see why Ryan is trying to get custody. He probably parties as well, but, Maci is very immature for posting all the photos as well not only from this time but last year as well. AND she was hanging with freakin Adam from real world! He is an idiot! He can’t control his drinking at all what so ever, he drank every night, he even got kicked off the show for smashing things on the show, he’s minuplative towards women, abusive, and he lies. Not a good guy to be with if she plans on being with him. I wouldn’t even hang with him in my opinion, but hey that just shows how big of a partier she is as well.

She’s allowed a break and Bentley was in safe hands but I don’t think she should be posting these kind of pictures for the world to see. She’s supposed to be a role model. The point of her being a ‘public speaker’ is to show young girls the struggles of teen motherhood….. Looks like her life is one big struggle. Not!! She’s such a hypocrite!

Maci is trash, she just lucked out and got a good edit from MTV. For a while anyway. Last year she was edited to be the immature petty manipulator she really is.

It amazes me how most of these girls whine and complain about the public attention they get and yet they are constantly posting pics and stuff that lead to the attention its like “look at me look at me” then people do and they say “well I didn’t really want you to”. It’s dumb. Maci is becoming one of the worst.

The only 2 people from the show that are actually doing something with their lives other than party with their mtv paychecks are Farrah (who I didn’t used to like) and Catelynn. The rest of them have let it all go to their heads

Granted she is 20 and should be allowed some down time and it is her business how she spends it however, have some discretion and don’t put it out there for the whole world to see. Although it may not be Maci’s intent to be a role model, she is for some girls. Her life has been chronicled on television for the last 3 years and she does speaking engagements for teens and young adults. So yes, this is not a good look for her and some of this should be kept private. Also on a total side note, I wish she would eat a burger or something because Maci is so skinny! Goodness

I used to like Maci , and I wouldn’t have cared much about her out partying , except for the fact she was a bitch to poor Ryan for going out – WHEN BENTLEY WAS IN BED!
She even went so far as to threaten Ryan that she will stop him having Bentley over , and there she is going out and going mad. Like I said, I wouldn’t care less about her being out as she needs a life, but she shouldn’t be a hypocrite about it and for Ryan stick for going on a night out.
And I agree – farrah and catelynn are the only two with a head on their shoulders. They are an inspiration with the struggles they have gone through.

I LOVE the show teen mom and even at 28, am addicted to it ! But I do think the show is glamourising the role of being a teen mother, which isn’t what they we’re trying to achieve , but it is what happened.

Maci Bookout is the biggest hypocrite of all. Everyone in Chattanooga knows it, too. She has blasted Ryan for doing the same thing; albeit, he was only going out for the night, not for an entire week.

Maci got a damn good edit from MTV. She is actually more the spoiled brat, attention whoring, really-not-any-better-than-anyone-else “mommy” that everyone is starting to see now. And Maci certainly talks of how hard it is to raise Bentley but ironically, seems to be the one with the MOST free time on TM or TM2…with Chelsea a close second. If you’re kids are always with someone else and you are always photographed eating out with friends sans kid or whoring around on spring break trips (also sans kid), you really ain’t that great a mom!

Maci isn’t single anymore. The guy in the photo wearing the t-shirt that is just as tasteless and vulgar is her new boyfriend Kyle Reynolds. I don’t know wny anyone is surprised at Maci and the photos. She has been posting photos like this for three years now and while I don’t begrudge anyone who likes to go out and have fun once in a while after becoming a parent, Maci’s problem is she wants to live like the single, free, non committed collge kid all the time when she does in fact have a responsibility to her son.

personally, I don’t think it is a big deal. first Her son was safe and either with his dad or grandparents. Second she is 20 years old, and is allowed to have fun. Just because she is a mom doesn’t mean she isn’t allowed to go out. As for the shirts.. it is OBVIOUSLY a JOKE, personally I though it was really funny, especially since she has that look on her face. I understand she put her life on camera so people are going to judge her, but I think we can at least try and be fair about it.

I get the irony of the shirt and find it humorous. She shouldn’t have posted it though because more than half of the US population would judge her for it and take it the wrong way.

Mom’s are allowed to go out once in a while. I still like her. She is a good mother and truly cares about Bentley, she takes care of what she needs to and doesn’t get arrested or do illegal drugs (that we know of), or get into physical confrontations. So, what is the problem?

When u become a mum u don’t stop being human, of course go out and have fun just don’t post pictures like these for millions of people to see. The only reason she is posting them is for attention and if its not good attention she gets pissed off. Like most of the other girls do. I really used to like Maci and pretty much all the girls on TM & TM2 but after following them on twitter I’ve realised they’re nothing like MTV makes them out to be. I don’t get the whole “shes a role model but she can still party!” Uh, no. If you’re a role model, you DON’T party… at least not publicly. She shouldn’t be promoting this sort of lifestyle. Contrary to what most of these TMs put on twitter and FB most moms COULD NOT leave their children for a week to go party. That’s not real, if she hadn’t have MTV money she probably wouldn’t have the means to do that…
Granted I don’t have children and I’m sure she felt she needed a break (but she almost always seems like she’s away from Bentley…) but the few friends I have with children always want to take vacations and things WITH their children.. you know, like family vacation… probably a lot more emotionally fulfilling than a booze tour around Daytona Beach.. IDK I’ve never liked her, she seems whiney and immature and she’s definitely let her “fame” go to her head.

  I used to babysit for people who wanted a break. You DON’T have children so I’m guessing you don’t understand how overwhelming it can be. Everyone needs a break once in a while, kids or not. Just because you have kids doesn’t all of a sudden mean you can’t have a break. She is a good mom and isn’t doing anything wrong. When was the last time we saw her be a bad mother? Or get arrested? Or do drugs? Or get physical with anyone? Never. She takes care of her business and from what we see, is a great mother.

    She makes it seem (on the show and via Twitter) that she doesn’t even have Bentley 65% of the time… so what exactly does she need a break from? Doing 50% of the work? And you’re right! I don’t have children so I don’t know… But I do know that I don’t have children because I’ve made good choices.. unlike EVERY GIRL on TM and 16&P. And like I said, I have plenty of close-friends who have children (some had them when they were 16-17 and some had them when they were in their 20s) and they would NEVER leave their children to go party at the Beach for a week.     Some else said it earlier … no one forces her to be on TV, she chooses to do so and by choosing to be a “Teen Mom” she IS CHOOSING to be role models to young girls… and then she deliberately puts things like this on the internet FOR HER FANS to see. It’s irresponsible of her — MOST girls who got pregnant at 16 aren’t getting $60,000+/year to be on TV, MOST of them aren’t working or are on assistance (and that’s a fact, dear — google it!) and they would NOT be able to leave their children for a week (babysitter or no) because it wouldn’t be financially feasible. But that’s the image Macy is inadvertently putting out.

      Agree to disagree. I think she is a good mother because I have not been shown otherwise and I won’t magically believe she’s a s**t or bad mom when I do not see any proof of it. TV or not, what you see is what you get. Even in tabloids, she has not been arrested for anything, she has not been seen or in trouble for taking drugs. That is why I said in my first post “what we know of” because yes, she could be doing these things behind doors but there is no evidence of it.

I find it so interesting that anytime anyone sees pics of jenelle; pics that aren’t even inappropriate, they are all over it insulting her, but when there are SEVERAL pics of Maci partying and acting vulgar suddenly it’s okay. Everyone was ALL over Ryan for partying, including Maci. She couldn’t be a bigger hypocrite.

It is NOT okay to act this way when you are a SPOKESPERSON trying to prevent teen pregnancy. It sends mixed messages to those who look up to her. The fact is she is in the public eye. Nobody forces her to be on t.v and she needs to be more thoughtful about the way she acts.

I am a mother and that does not mean I can’t party or go out. Just because I am a mother does not mean I need to be chained to my son, who I adore deeply. If I could go on spring break and have my son be cared for I would because I don’t party that often. That being said I’m going to visit my sister for her college graduation, she’s also finally 21 so we’re going to go to the bars together, something we’ve never done together. I will be partying it up and I will be having fun and my son will be taken care of by his father (and my boyfriend) while I go live a little. So freaking what she is partying on spring break, big freaking deal. She is allowed to have a life. Being a mother doesn’t define who you are, it helps make who you are but it isn’t everything about yourself.

I am a single mother of 2 and for my Spring break im hitting up Vegas does that make me a bad person? im so glad everybody that is commenting on how shes a bad mom for going out, or too wild is so damn perfect! I do not think Maci has changed at all. I think she is just not hiding who she really is anymore. Is she still doing on line college classes or is she actually going to a building?
It is fine to party etc., but at least be honest about it. She has always loved to party. Spring Break is fine but she is an adult with a child. She appears to leave Bently a lot. Not just for school. She goes on Spring Break every year. She goes on girls night quite a bit. She always drinks and does beer pong. It is all fine and it is the real her. Some moms, especially working moms who are trying to go to school, would treasure any time they have with their child. Maci is not like that. She always left Bently with someone so she could go out. Ryan would love to have him, but because of that, Maci looks for others while she goes to play beer pong. She does not love Bently more than she is jealous of Ryan loving Bently. To “Does it Matter” I hear what you are saying. I bet it is reare for you to leave your children. Maci is quite different.

Whether you love her or hate her, do any of you actually know her personally? Going by pictures from spring break, can you really tell if she is immature? From her TV show, can you really tell if she is a perfect mom?
