WARNING! Justin Bieber’s music can be painful and damaging to your ears!

Justin Bieber is being sued for causing a woman to have permanent ear damage! After taking her daughter to his concert, the woman claims she was hit with a “sound blast” leading to her injuries. Now, she wants $9 million from The Biebs & company!

We’ve all heard the Biebs, so those of us of a certain age totally get how his music can be painful, but is this woman serious?

According to the suit, Stacey Wilson Betts had taken her daughter to see Bieber’s show in Portland, Oregon on July 14, 2010. Betts claims that the arena was incredibly loud with screaming fans. Shocking, right? She goes on to say that Bieber made it “much, much worse” when he entered an aluminum gondola which was pulled out into the crowd. Next, Bieber encouraged fans to get even louder. With the gondola acting as a “sound conductor,” a sound blast erupted that permanently damaged both of Betts’ ears.

We managed to dig up a clip of the exact concert Betts and her daughter attended so you can hear everything for yourself! Have a listen below.. at your own risk of course.

Back to Betts v Biebs… Betts claims she now suffers from tinnitus which causes a constant pulsing, whooshing sound that makes it hard to sleep. She also complains of other hearing-related damage. How much does she want? According to Betts, Biebs’ damage totals a whopping $9.23 million! But, Bieber isn’t fully responsible —  she’s also expecting his record label, the concert promoter, and the arena to pay up.

I’m sure it’s just a matter of days before this turns into a class action suit involving millions of parents the globe over. (Calm down Beliebers, you know we’re just exaggerating to be silly.)

Bieber’s luck with the law hasn’t been great lately. Just last week, Justin allegedly assaulted a paparazzo after racing around Los Angeles — and that’s not the first time he’s gotten rough. But hey, at least he didn’t get anyone pregnant this time. Oh wait, that didn’t happen. How could I forget the “Justin Bieber, you are NOT the father” announcement!
