Last night on WAGS Miami, one of the longest running couples hit a bit of a snag when Reshad Jones told Darnell Nicole that he didn’t want to have a huge engagement party. The problem is, Darnell already invited about 200 people to the party and now she’s going to have to cancel it.
At the pool hall, Darnell received a message from one of her friends about how excited she was for the engagement party. That’s when Reshad said, “You know we ain’t doing that though right?”
Darnell seemed totally shocked that her fiance was not interested in having a big party. Reshad made it clear that he doesn’t want to deal with all the hassle and the people that he doesn’t even know. “It should be something private, just for us,” Reshad told Darnell.
Even though Darnell already sent out invitations and planned the whole party, Reshad made it clear that he was not interested in having an engagement party and that he would not be changing his mind.
“I don’t know what’s going on his head,” Darnell confessed after the scene played out. “Will he do this with our wedding? Does he want to get married? I’m a little scared at this point.”
Darnell and Reshad have been together for 7 years now and have a 2-year old daughter together. As one of the longest-running couples on the E! reality show, Darnell admitted in the premiere episode that Reshad hadn’t always been loyal. They did end up working out their relationship issues through counseling and then got engaged.
Although Darnell and Reshad have been together for a long time, reality TV fans might remember him from an episode of T.I. & Tiny where the Miami Dolphins safety was set up on a blind date with Tiny’s best friend Shekinah.
