Comedy’s Lovely “Queen of Mean” Lisa Lampanelli returns to roast David Hasselhoff
The Hoff better watch his well publicized Baywatch backside as it has been confirmed that “Comedy’s Lovely Queen of Mean” Lisa Lampanelli will be returning from her roast hiatus to ream David Hasselhoff a new one. For those of you unfamiliar with Lampanelli’s spirit-shredding capabilities the following information is provided so that you will make sure to tune in to the special when it airs on Comedy Central.
Lisa has a special knack for the roast, let’s just say that she is the roast-host with the most and when you’ve been Lampanelli lampooned your toast. She began her stand up career in the early 90’s but found a calling when her big roasting break came at the expense of Chevy Chase for the New York Friar’s Club Roast in 2002. She has gone on to destroy the likes of Denis Leary, Pamela Anderson, Jeff Foxworthy, Flavor Flav, and William Shatner, and to serve as Roastmaster for Larry the Cable Guy.
Racial and ethnic humor are a large part of her stand-up routine and roasting. She explained her ability to walk that tightrope this way:
“I can get away with it because I’m a nice person, I have a warm personality, my intention is good behind it. The thing is, people sense when you have the least bit of anger or hate towards a group. That’s why you never make fun of people you don’t like.”

Lampanelli was nominated for a Grammy in 2008 for Best Comedy Album for her Dirty Girl release. She also published a memoir, Chocolate, Please: My Adventures in Food, Fat, and Freaks in 2009.
Now on to the good stuff! Here are a few videos of Lampanelli at her best. As you can imagine these contain adult themes and language.
Lisa lampoons Gene Simmons:
“Gene Simmons has more photos of old weathered crevices than Ansel Adams.”
Lisa lampoons Chevy Chase:
On Paul Shaffer’s jacket: “What the hell, did Michael Jackson’s chimp have a yard sell?”
Lisa lampoons Larry the Cable Guy:
“Larry was raised at a pig farm and at age 13 he was put in charge of inseminating the pigs. At age 15 he realized there was a machine that could do it for him.”
