VIDEO Weeping Miley Cyrus says she accepts Donald Trump as president
Donald Trump came in like a wrecking ball to the 2016 presidential election and demolished all comers with a bombastic, unapologetic, and ultimately victorious march to the White House
In his wake, he left millions in shock and despair as almost all of the pre-election forecasts indicated a Hillary Clinton victory. Miley Cyrus, one of the most vocal celebrity proponents of Clinton’s campaign, took to Twitter to express her grief over Trump’s YUGE upset.
A weeping Miley said in the dimly lit video, “I do want to say that I’ve been vocal for my support for everyone besides Donald Trump… That’s what makes me so sad is that I just wish that she [Clinton] had that opportunity because she’s fought for so long and because I believe her when she says that she loves this country.”

Cyrus called herself a “hopeful hippie” as she made a plea for understanding. “Happy hippies we adjust and we accept everyone for who they are… And so, Donald Trump, I accept you. And this hurts to say, but I even accept you as a President of the United States and that’s fine,” she said adding, “Please just treat people with love and treat people with compassion and treat people with respect and I will do the same for you.”
