VIDEO New season of Little People Big World returns May 10
The Roloffs are back! Or, at least, the Roloffs will be back soon as TLC has announced Little People Big World Season 10 will premiere May 10. However, judging from the preview trailer, the network may want to change the title of the show to Little People Big Changes!
Here’s the clip:
“We had a meeting with the divorce attorney,” Matt Roloff says at the beginning of the clip. “you know, 26 years of history to try to figure out how to unravel.”
“It’s always sad to know,” says Matt’s soon-to-be ex-wife Amy Roloff, “that someone really doesn’t want you in their life any more.”
From there, the preview trailer launches into a series of wild adventures, which includes some awkward attempts at dating, group parasailing, and whale watching.
Matt’s voice then puts a damper on the excitement. “We’ve got some serious stuff we’ve got to talk to those kids about,” he says, as he and Amy lay poolside.
That “serious stuff” seems to all revolve around the fate of the family farm in the wake of Matt and Amy’s divorce. Will they sell the farm? Will one or more of the Roloff children take over? You’ll have to tune in this season to find out!
Here is more of what you can expect to see this season from TLC:
Amy seeks to redefine herself and decides to not only make over her kitchen but also her appearance. She throws a dinner party on the farm with dear friends and even considers getting a tattoo to commemorate what she calls her “second act.” Matt tries to recapture good times with Jeremy and Zach by taking them on a boys’ camping trip, but he feels his mortality when he is forced to confront long-standing health issues.
Meanwhile, the Roloff kids are all grown up and dealing with very adult decisions. Zach and Tori merge their lives together as newlyweds while Jeremy and Audrey settle into their new home in Bend, Oregon. Molly’s graduation approaches and she contemplates her future after college.
Little People Big World Season 10 premieres Tuesday, May 10 at 9/8c on TLC. For those who can’t wait that long, you can get your Roloff whistle wet by tuning in on May 3 for a one-hour special titled “The Wedding Story of Zach and Tori” which will obviously document the couple’s beautiful wedding from last July.
Oh, and BIG props to Little People Big World for lasting ten seasons — that is a rare feat in the world of reality television!
