VIDEO MTV’s True Life: I had my cousin’s baby

Over the holiday season, many of us have found ourselves surrounded by our extended families…but what if your cousin was more than just a relative? In a new True Life, MTV is tackling the topic of incest by featuring romantic relationships between cousins.

Throughout the years, the documentary series has shed light on a variety of topics, such as alternative lifestyles, and other taboo topics–so why would sexual relationships between related adults be any different?

The show follows two women who are not only in a relationship with their cousins but who are also raising children with them.

Not surprisingly, their families aren’t supportive of their choice, and the women feel torn between the man they love (in this case, their cousins) and the rest of their family.
