VIDEO – House arrested Lindsay Lohan made an art film with Richard Phillips
Lindsay Lohan is currently serving a cush house arrest sentence, and she’s also starred in a 98-second film by fine artist Richard Phillips. It’s got shots of Lilo in a bikini, long shots of her face, shots of her in the water, and one of her watching a giant wave crash. She also watches a movie of herself and touches her big eyeball. It’s art, don’t worry about what it means, wonder about how it makes you feel; especially if it makes you feel like casting her in a movie. It’s really kind of like a commercial for lip injections and another excuse to see Lilo and her giant boobs in a bikini, but this guy at The Guardian thinks it’s waaay more than that.
Richard Phillips will show this film at the prestigious art festival the Venice Biennale. It will also be on display in New York at the Gagosian Gallery from June 1 to June 5. Philips specializes in glossy paintings of pop culture-inspired images. This January his had an exhibition featuring bright portraits of young celebrities like Miley Cyus, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Swift. Click here to see all of those.
And now, the film:
Lindsay will reportedly be reading scripts while staying indoors wearing an ankle bracelet for 35 days. She also plans to spend her days doing yoga and painting. She can have as many visitors as she likes, and she doesn’t have to undergo drug and alcohol screening. She’s residing in a $7,100-a-month rental right next door to her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
