VIDEO Antelope does Ray Lewis impersonation on mountain biker
I think the wild red hartbeests of South Africa have been playing some Madden because the antelope you’re about to see in the following clip went all truck-stick Ray Lewis on an unsuspecting mountain biker.
Evan van der Spuy of Team Jeep South Africa was racing at Albert Falls Dam in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, when he got blasted by a beast that brings it. Red hartbeest antelopes can weigh over 300lbs and stand almost five feet at the shoulders. Their top speed is around 40 mph.
All of this, of course, is not good for our man Evan (a sprinkling of adult language reaction from the cameraman):
Van der Spuy’s helmet shattered and he ended up in the hospital but somehow suffered no major injuries. If that would have been any QB in the NFL they’d be out 4-5 weeks and that antelope would have been fined a billion dollars.
For comparison sake let’s take a look at the real Ray-Lew and see if the antelope brought it like his sensei:
BOOM! I should add that the mountain biker wasn’t wearing pads.
