The two-part Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce special premieres on E! in less than two weeks, and today the network released the first official preview trailer!
In the video we see a lot of home videos of Bruce and his family with emotional voice overs. “You’re thinking someday you’re gonna get over it,” Bruce says. “These are my secrets that I have to deal with on my own.”
Kris Jenner talks about first meeting Bruce. “I met him on a blind date, and it was kind of love at first sight.” Kris’ daughter Kim Kardashian then says, “We want to understand his struggle.”
[It should be pointed out that Bruce has yet to say he would prefer to be referred to with feminine pronouns, so per the GLAAD tip sheet, we will continue to use masculine pronouns until he says differently.]
“I think his biggest concern is he doesn’t want to hurt us,” Kourtney says. Kylie says, “I do want to meet Her,” adding, “when he’s ready. When we’re both ready.”
An emotional Kendall Jenner is heard saying, “I just don’t like when people say Bruce is gonna be gone.” Bruce assures her, “I’m not going anywhere.” (In a previous Keeping Up With the Kardashians clip Kendall could be seen getting very emotional about Bruce’s announcement.)
The clip concludes with Bruce’s narration, “I don’t think I’ve ever been as scared in my life as I was to be extraordinarily honest with my kids.”
