Tom Irwin, the dad from My So-Called Life is on Lifetime’s Devious Maids!
Lifetime’s new nighttime soap Devious Maids premieres June 23, at 10/9c, but you can view the first episode in a special sneak preview on their website right now.
This Eva Longoria produced show is like a mix of Desperate Housewives and Downton Abbey with it’s modern soapy drama and scandal between the filthy rich and their hired help.
The highlight of the show for me, though, is Tom Irwin, who played Graham Chase, the dad on My So-Called Life! I never fully recovered from that show’s cancellation, so this is a long-delayed salve for that wound. This, and anything Claire Danes does.
Here’s the description of Tom’s character on this juicy show:
Adrian is an eccentric Beverly Hills power broker who shares with his wife, Evelyn, a penchant for extravagant parties, unusual hobbies and dark secrets. So when their maid, Flora, is brutally murdered in their home, the question is not IF Adrian was involved, but HOW? He and Evelyn, estranged by years of tragedy and scandal, are determined to keep the answers to such questions to themselves, whatever the cost.
