Taylor Swift struck a balance between being lighthearted and very serious with any person who considers taking a personal tour of her Rhode Island property: The border is lined with signs that warn, “I knew you were trouble when you walked in. NO TRESPASSING.” The first line is, of course, a lyric from her popular song by the same name.
Taylor has already proven she won’t waver with security around her $17-million, ocean-front home. In May, a male swimmer was arrested after making his way too close to her private beach.
The actions of Taylor’s security team have also annoyed locals, who were reportedly turned away from a public beach that neighbors Taylor’s. Although that seems a little over-the-top, you can’t blame Taylor for wanting to keep a secure perimeter. As a young, in-demand singer, she likely catches the attention of some Class A creeps.
